This Tokyo Tour by Bus & Cruise Ship is an ideal way to get your bearings around the city. In the first section of the tour, we will drive around Tokyo passing the Hanzo-mon Gate, National Theater, Supreme Court of Japan, National Diet Building and the ministry offices in Kasumigaseki. Your English speaking tour guide will be on hand to explain why each site is important and will provide some interesting facts. The first stop in the tour will be at the Imperial Palace East Garden. If the East Garden is closed we will visit the Imperial Palace Outer Garden and Niju-bashi Bridge instead. The coach will then take us through some of Tokyo’s neighborhoods including the residential district of Kanda and the bustling technology shopping district of Akihabara. Visitors will have some time to visit the Ame-Yoko Market and Kappa-bashi Market for unique souvenirs and gifts. You will then have time to explore the Asakusa district. As the entertainment hub of the Edo period, it is no surprise that Asakusa is now a thriving historic district in Tokyo. The next visit is the Tsukiji Fish Market, the largest fish market in the world where tourists and wholesalers gather together to view 23 hectares of fish and seafood. You will then drive across to Odaiba, an island in Tokyo. This artificial island is home to the first shopping center in Tokyo where we will have a tasty buffet style lunch in a restaurant with views of the bay.
Admire the views of the city by boat on a short cruise around Tokyo Bay. After the cruise, the coach will drop you off at one of Tokyo’s most popular destinations including Tokyo Tower, Ginza or Shibuya.
Our Tokyo Tour by Bus & Cruise Ship is leaving daily with a guaranteed departure and visits some of Tokyo’s most popular landmarks and neighborhoods including the Imperial Palace, Asakusa, Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo Bay, and Odaiba. An English speaking guide, hotel pick up, transportation by bus and a Tokyo Bay cruise are included.
